Purpose of the Alpha Version

The purpose of the alpha version is to have creators evaluate the usability and performance of the new features scheduled to be included in Cubism 5.4, incorporate their feedback, and deliver a better product when the final version is released.

The alpha version is available to all users  free of charge.

Feel free to post your opinions and feedback about the alpha version on social media or the official Live2D Creators Forum.

We encourage you to take this opportunity to try out the Cubism 5.4 alpha. We look forward to hearing your feedback.

Development Process

We will continue to improve the features based on the feedback and requests we receive from creators who have tried the Cubism alpha version.

We will transition to the beta version once the alpha period is over, and specifications for the new Cubism version have been finalized.
During the beta phase, we will work to improve quality by fixing bugs and other issues.
Once the critical issues have been resolved and the new features are confirmed to be working smoothly, we will release the stable version.

Development Schedule

・Alpha version period
Available until “September 14, 2026.” After this date, the alpha version will no longer be available.

Note: Depending on the amount of feedback received, the duration of the alpha phase and the release dates for the beta and release versions may change.
Note: We may not be able to incorporate all suggestions. Thank you for your understanding.
