Definition of Sample Data

“Sample Data” means materials supplied by Live2D as sample, including without limitation any data, artwork, image, design, and trademark.

Types of Sample Data

The Live2D Cubism sample Data are categorized into three types: Live2D original characters, collaboration characters, and externally licensed characters. The terms of use are different for each type.

Terms of Use for Live2D Original Characters

These are Live2D original characters. When using these character data, you must consent to the following terms for using these Data and theFree Material License Agreement.Any Material distributed by Live2D Inc. through associated download pages for services other than Live2D Cubism (including but not limited to nizima LIVE and nizima ACTION!!) are subject to the terms and conditions of the license agreement or terms of use provided by such services.

Characters categorized as Live2D original characters	Izumi, Epsilon, Gantzert & Felixander, Kei, Koharu & Haruto, Shizuku, simple model, Chitose, Tororo & Hijiki, Mao Niziiro, Nito, Haru, Haru (receptionist version), Sample for Parameter Controller, Hibiki, Mark-kun, Mark-kun (video version), Miara, Hiyori Momose, Hiyori Momose (video version), Rice Glassfield, Ren Foster,Wankoromochi

Terms of Use for Individual Live2D Original Characters

Live2D original character	Individual terms of use
Shizuku	Use this character directly without changing the name or settings.
Nito	Maintain the body type in which the head is the same size as the body when using this character.
Mark-kun, Mark-kun (video version)	When using this character, make use of his cartoon character nature. This character may not be redrawn as a handsome man or converted to a dramatized illustration style.
Miara, Hiyori Momose, Hiyori Momose (video version)	No changes of any kind to the design of this character are permitted.
Wankoromochi	Respect the mochi theme when using this character.

Note: If you would like to use a character in a way that does not conform to the above terms of use, please consult with Live2D Support.

Note: If a Middle-Scale or Large-Scale Enterprise customer would like to temporarily use these characters for promotion please refer to Section 2.1.3.2 of Free Material License Agreement.

Copyright Notice

You shall indicate the following copyright notice in creating works that use Live2D Original Characters.

Usage	Notices to be indicated
In a case it is possible to indicate long descriptions in a brief summary field or the like. (Ex:YouTube, NicoNico, Bilibilli, description of game/application etc.)	“This content uses sample data owned and copyrighted by Live2D Inc. The sample data are utilized in accordance with terms and conditions set by Live2D Inc. This content itself is created at the author’s sole discretion.”
In a case it is difficult or impossible to indicate long descriptions due to the absence of a brief summary field or the like. (Ex:Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.)	“This content uses sample data owned and copyrighted by Live2D Inc.”

Terms of Use for Collaboration Characters

These are characters that were created in collaboration between Live2D and outside creators. Consent to the following terms for using these Data and the Free Material License Agreement is required. You may neither use Collaboration Character and the related data for commercial purposes nor alter nor distribute them.

Terms of Use for Externally Licensed Characters

These are characters owned by a third party for which modeling was performed by Live2D. Consent to the terms of use set by such third party is required. You shall use the Externally Licensed Characters at your thorough self-responsibility and Live2D Inc. accepts no responsibility for any lawsuit, conflict and/or claim for damage between you and the third party arising from your bleach of the terms of use or any other reason.
