A PSD with materials divided into each part, prepared using Adobe® Photoshop® software or a similar tool and arranged so that it can be easily manipulated with Cubism Editor, is known as an "import PSD."
Scripts are available for efficiently creating these import PSDs.
This script performs the following processes for the Adobe Photoshop layer structure, converting it to layers that are suitable for import into Cubism Editor.
Using this script eliminates the troublesome work of connecting groups and adapting layer masks, and makes the creation of import PSDs in a snap.
*1: When a PSD saved with Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 contains work paths or similar data, it cannot be imported correctly. As a solution to this problem, the path data is deleted in advance before creating the connections.
Update history
This script removes small scraps such as parts not fully erased from the Adobe Photoshop layer structure.
With Cubism Editor, if there are remaining scraps at separated points, it may not be possible to correctly associate the model image and PSD layers. Using this script allows you to more reliably create import PSDs.
It is recommended that this script be executed for import PSDs after the Live2D_Preprocess script was executed.
