Ver.5.3.00

Cubism Editor 5.3.00 released!

A long-awaited feature to expand the range of expressions in Live2D has arrived! We have equipped advanced drawing expressions comparable to paint tools through Blend Mode, which were difficult to achieve with conventional Cubism, as well as Offscreen Drawing that easily realizes expressions with adjusted opacity that were previously achieved by duplicating parts.

Blend Mode

Blend Mode

The existing Blend method has been expanded into the "Blend Mode" feature!
Over 10 different RGB color blends, as well alpha blends can be set individually!
This enables advanced drawing expressions comparable to those of advanced paint tools, which were previously difficult to achieve in Cubism.

Offscreen Drawing

Offscreen Drawing

The “Offscreen Drawing” feature has been added to Parts!
This feature draws multiple objects in memory and then transfers them to the canvas. When on, you can set opacity, clipping, etc. for Parts.
For example, this lets you adjust opacity without worrying about overlapping objects in the part.

Brush Tool Enhancements

Brush Tool Enhancements

New "Square" and "Line" brush shapes and "Expand Brush" have been added to the Deform Brushes tool and Brush Selection tool!
Editing shapes such as ArtMeshes and Warp Deformers allows for more flexible selection and deformation.
The "Expansion Brush" allows you to create deformations that expand and contract as if looking through a fisheye lens.

Warp Deformer Resize Support

Warp Deformer Resize Support

When a child element extends beyond the parent deformer, the warp deformer is now automatically extended to match the keyform of the child element!
This makes it easy to correct any protruding child elements while maintaining the existing motion / movement of the parent deformer, even after Parameters have been set.
