FaceRig Studio supports Live2D Cubism 3 OW, and license terms updated based on users’ revenue and follower count.
Support for Live2D Cubism 3 Original Workflow has solved known issues.
By supporting Live2D Cubism 3 OW (Original Workflow), FaceRig Studio provide more control over motion playbacks. It has also solved known issues, and using clipping mask, adding colors, switching motions are easier than ever.
To showcase its full potential, FaceRig Studio bundles two new characters GAOO and YUTAKA created by Live2D CreativeStudio.

- Q. As an indie user, do I need to purchase "FaceRig Studio for Event Booths with Live2D” if I want to use FaceRig in their booth at fan events (such as Comiket)?
- A. “FaceRig Studio Event Booths” is required only if the software is operated by visitors. If the character is animated by/operated by the booth exhibitor or his/her booth staff, there is no need for the event booth license, and you can use “FaceRig Classic or Pro”.
- A. As long as the video content is not gated from the public behind pay walls (such as YouTube Red), there is no need for “FaceRig Studio” license, and you can use “FaceRig Classic or Pro”.
- A. As long as you are an individual user, there is no need for “FaceRig Studio” license, and you can use “FaceRig Classic or Pro”. However, if your video content is gated from the public behind pay walls (such as YouTube Red), you must obtain “FaceRig Studio” license.
